Who are we ?
A few years ago, we discovered the hamlet of Courbaton, a 10-minute walk from the Arc 1600 station, in the heart of the PARADISKI domain. It is located in a fir forest, around thirty pretty chalets gathered in a natural setting, with a magnificent view. At the edge of two ski slopes, we can access the area quickly without a car. This unique place in Savoie made our stays special and memorable moments. We fell in love with this magical place, summer and winter alike, and decided to put our skis there and share it with other travelers.
Chalet Francoz
We offer two independent apartments in a very large chalet.
-“ Félix Francoz ”: 14 beds, 5 bedrooms, Hammam, 165 m²
- “Félicie Francoz ”: 12 beds, 5 bedrooms, 150 m²
This 600 m² chalet was originally built to house the personnel responsible for digging the 17 km tunnel in the mountain, linking Courbaton to the Tignes dam in order to supply the Malgovert hydroelectric power station. Its unique architecture has been rehabilitated to accommodate three large, completely independent apartments.
We have recently completely renovated the two upper accommodations in order to offer luxury stays in a warm atmosphere, unlike traditional rentals.
The names of the chalets were given in homage to our great-great-grandparents, originally from the region, Félicie and Félix Francoz, always Savoyard.
Felix
165 m2 on one level, 5 bedrooms - 14 people
Hammam, terrace
Probably the largest single-storey apartment in the resort. Modern and warm atmosphere with a touch of larch wood. At the entrance, 2 verandas for skis and drying belongings. Five bedrooms, three of which have four bunk beds, three bathrooms, one of which has a Hammam. A large living room with a kitchen opening onto a long balcony which goes around the south facade. Majestic view of the valley in front of you!
Felicie
155 m2 duplex, 5 bedrooms - 12 people
wine cellar, fire place, balcony
“Félicie” occupies the top floor of the chalet. This luxurious and bright 150 m² duplex was completely renovated in 2024. Very large living room with cathedral living room, a stove, a large kitchen area and a wine cellar. 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with two bathrooms as well as three bedrooms on the 1st floor with a bathroom. A south-facing terrace offers a panoramic view of more than 25 km.

A magical week spent at Chalet Le Francoz! An enchanting setting, nestled in the heart of snow-covered fir trees, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains. The apartment is spacious, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated, offering all the necessary comfort for a stay with family or friends. Access to the slopes is ultra-easy: a morning shuttle to reach the chairlifts and, on the way back, a beautiful blue slope takes us back a few meters from the chalet. Special mention for the warm welcome and the availability of the hosts, which make the experience even more enjoyable.

Very cozy house, well equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms. We did not have a car so Arc 1600 was quite a walk but besides that everything was perfect! We had a lovely week.
